10% of mezcal sales in 2024 ($1,050 USD or 21,000 pesos) have been redistributed to Luis Paulino Antonio Cruz, as resources to help finance the sustaining of the vivero project. As per Luis’ note, these funds will serve to 1) improve the watering system, 2) the purchase of seeds, and 3) help fund different works, (and effectively serve as a down payment for the next round of agaves Rezpiral will be gifting to families). “This family-based work, will guarantee improvement in the quality of our plants.”
