A thank you to all those that visited, gave life & support to the Vivero Amigos del Maguey y la Biodiversidad, or simply supported from afar, between 2018 and 2021. Over these years, 47,000 agaves of all types, and mostly from seed, came to life that wouldn’t have otherwise. That and a sterile piece of land was regenerated, and made fertile, through a lot of time and hard work. Friendships, conversations, and plenty of learnings were also generated by those that visited. A special thank you to the “assembly of common lands” of the Municipality of Santa Maria del Tule that governed until 2020, whose lending of this land made it all possible. AW
Gracias a todos y todas que visitaron y dieron vida y apoyo al Vivero Amigos del Maguey y la Biodiversidad, o quien apoyaron de lejos, entre 2018 y 2021. Durante estés años, 47,000 agaves de todos tipos lograron a vivir y prosperar que no hubieran vivido de otro modo. Además logramos a regenerar el terreno que encontramos esterilizado y muerto atreves de mucho tiempo y trabajo. Amistades, platicas, convivencias y aprendizajes también pasaron gracias a todos que llegaron. Un agradecimiento especial a la asamblea de tierras ejidales que gobernaron hasta el 2020. Sin su préstamo de esa tierra nunca hubiera sido posible. AW
